Star Garden

The Star of the North Retreat Centre is heading into its fourth season of developing a co-operative urban garden focused on increasing access to fresh produce within our community. Co-operative means that everyone shares in the garden—in learning, planning, planting, tending, watering, harvesting and enjoying the abundance of the garden. There are no “individual” plots. Each person or family benefiting from the garden volunteers in the garden a minimum of one-hour weekly. We are reaching out to those in the St. Albert area who would love to help us grow our garden community. Come join in the fun, learning, friendship and eventual bounty!
