We Love Gardening! Workshop Series & BBQ

The Star of the North is once again please to be partnering with the St. Albert Backyard Gardening Group to host an afternoon of gardening workshops in celebration of Earth Day! Join us for a day of learning and celebration on Sunday, April 28th from 1 - 4 pm. The afternoon will include:

• 6 gardening workshops with local presenters
• a hands on Three-Sisters seed starting presentation
• information exchange with other local gardeners
• BBQ and concession

Registration: $15 by April 19th / $20 after April 19th | www.starofthenorth.ca/gardening

Registration includes access to all workshops and a BBQ meal ticket (burger or hotdog, chips/veggies, & drink).

Spirituality & Gardening Evenings

Join Clint Porritt for a 5-week series of outdoor urban gardening evenings combining ritual & reflection with hands-on good gardening practices and education around issues such as creation care and food security. How to Grow: Meeting God in the Garden runs five Wednesdays, May 8 to June 5, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Early registration closing April 15th.
