Coping With Loss

Star of the North is once again hosting a Bereavement Support group this spring with facilitator Wanda Lehman, with the possibility of an afternoon or evening option for registrants. Each group requires a minimum of 4 participants to go ahead. For many grieving people, support groups are an important resource that allow them a chance to connect with those who have experienced similar thoughts and feelings.

We are looking for help in reaching out to those who are bereaved and seeking a safe gathering for care and support.
If you know of someone who would benefit from one of these groups, please encourage them to reach out to us by April 1st.

Coping With Loss: Bereavement Support Group

This group provides a safe environment for those who are bereaved; to share stories, gain support through one other and learn strategies to assist in coping with issues associated with their personal grief journeys. This April we hope to offer both a Wednesday afternoon and evening group:

7 Tuesdays, April 9 to May 21
Afternoon Option: 1:00 to 2:30 pm

Evening Option: 6:30 to 8:00 pm
